Ajou GSIS (Graduate School of International Studies)

The purpose of Ajou University's Graduate School of International Studies is to nurture international experts with global perspectives and help them enhance international communication and cooperation in a rapidly changing world, especially in domains such as politics, economy, culture, technology etc.

Ajou GSIS Programs

The Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) has 4 major departments, all of which offer a Master's degree: International Business, International Trade, NGO Studies, and International Development and Cooperation. All courses are taught in English, and classes are held in the daytime.

The types of Master's degree conferred by the GSIS are categorized as below according to the student's major (department).

Qualifications for Application

In order to be admitted as a graduate student, applicants are expected to have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or be in the final semester to obtain a Bachelor's degree at an internationally recognized university or college. Otherwise, applicants should have an equivalent qualification to a Bachelor's degree which is approved by the Ministry of Education of their respective countries.
