Ajou GSIS Admission

Students should file the below documents and send all documents to the following address before the deadlines:

Required Documents 

    • Completed Application Form (Downloadable under Application && Recommendation Forms)
    • Official transcript of all undergraduate work
      ※ Should be an original transcript. Copied transcript must be notarized from Korean Embassy.* Should also attach a grading system explanation of the bachelor degree granting university
      on a separate paper
    • Undergraduate diploma or Graduation Certificate
      Copied diploma should must be officially notarized from Korean Embassy
    • Two letters of recommendation from professors or supervisors
      (Recommendation form : Downloadable under Application & Recommendation Forms)
    • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
    • Official Test of English as a foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) its equivalence
      - TOEFL above 550/213(PBT/CBT), IELTS above 5.5
      ※ The Korean or English language ability requirement can be eased for Government Scholarship students, students from
      foreign universities which concluded the exchange agreement with Ajou University and students who are granted a
      special admission into Ajou university through the deliberation of the GSIS Admission Committee
    • Two passport-sized photos (plain background)
    • Application fee of USD 100
      • - When using International Money Order : Payable to Ajou University (and include the money order in the application
        package)
        - When wire-transferring Cash to Ajou University, please send the fee to the following address:
        • : Standard Chartered First Bank Korea Limited
        • : Account No. : 632-15-000298
        • : Swift Code : SCBLKRSE
      • One copy of a Verification of Deposit (VOD) of the person responsible for student's expenses (should have more than 20,000USD in the deposit)
      • Curriculum Vitae
      • Certificate of Income(Applicant's or applicant's parents or sponsor)
      • Agreement form for academic verification
      • Academic Request form
      • A Copy of passport (Information page)
        ※ After submitting application and other required documents, please refer to Admission Guide at (here) for next step.
        •   - All documents necessary for application for admission should be provided with original documents
        •   - When original documents are written in other than English, they should be submitted after being translated into English
          and being notarized.
        •  English Degree Certification (Chinese Student Only)

      -   issued by China Academic Degree & Graduate Education Development Center (www.cdgdc.edu.cn) 

      • A copy of Alien Registration(Only for Residents in Korea)
