Ajou University provide a various scholarship programs for international students. Most of international students are partially or entirely waived from the tuition fees. Besides of the internal scholarship, Individual students can apply for the Government Scholarship via each government's website according to their Admission Procedure

 
Scholarship for Undergraduate

Qualifications for scholarship
The student must have acquired 13 credits or more and the GPA of 2.5 or higher without an F in the immediately preceding semester. (For an international student to receive a full scholarship, the GPA must be 3.0 or higher.)

Beneficiary should satisfy any one of the following requirements

Those who received a scholarship from an external scholarship foundation at the time of admission to a university (In addition, those receiving scholarships from an external scholarship foundation after entering a university shall be entitled to receive scholarship A from the semester of receiving the external scholarship.)

Advanced Standing in Undergraduate Programs (Asian Countries: Applicants in the top 30% in a graduate university ranking in the top 20% in each country. North American and European Countries: Applicants in the top 30% in a graduate university ranking in the top 50% in each country. Or those recognized as being in advanced standing by the graduate school committee who satisfy the following conditions)

     
- Applicants who are newly registered in a department of humanities and social science with 550 points or more on the TOEFL
- Applicants who are newly registered in a department of science and engineering with 530 points or more on the TOEFL
- Those with the grade of level 5 in the Korean language proficiency test of the Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation
   
Scholarship B 80% of the tuition fee (excluding admission fee)

To be granted Scholarship continuously, students should maintain a GPA of 3.5 of higher each semester (Masters: up to 4 semesters, Doctoral: up to 6 semesters)

* Students that are granted a scholarship in integrated programs are treated as being on a special scholarship for the master's program for 1~4 semesters and as being on a research scholarship for the doctoral program for 5~8 semesters.
* Students of Medical Sciences and Nursing Sciences are excluded from the above scholarship (These students follow the scholarship system of the respective departments.)
