NEW Ajou University President Park Hyung-ju is Awarded the Deputy Prime Minister/Education Minister’s Commendation

Ajou University President Park Hyung-ju was awarded the Deputy Prime Minister/Education Minister’s Commendation.


The ceremony took place during the 14th Meeting of the National Curriculum Revision Promotion Committee held on January 19, 2022, at the Government Complex Sejong. President Park received the Commendation in recognition of his contribution to the establishment of policy on educational curriculum as chairman of the above Committee since 2021.


President Park expressed his appreciation to all members of the Committee for their work over the past year and pledged to do his utmost to lead the project in the most effective manner until the final announcement can be made, now that they have established an outline of the revised national curriculum, one of the greatest challenges in the project.


The National Curriculum Revision Promotion Committee was pivotal in establishing the outline of the revised curriculum for elementary and middle schools, the direction of the revision and allocation of hours for each subject, discussing major issues surrounding the development of the revised curriculum, and discussing and deliberating on the various ideas obtained.
