Ajou's University Development Team is selected as the Department of the Month
[16.08.29]
A ceremony was held on the morning of August 29th at Yulgok Hall to encourage members of Ajou's University Development Team, which was selected as the Department of the Month. At the ceremony, which was arranged at the beginning of the Team Leaders Meeting, President Dong Yeon Kim, professors with administrative positions, and other team leaders congratulated the members of the University Development Team.
The University Development Team was recognized for its activities to attract new students for the 2017 academic year for the Department of Convergence Systems Engineering that was launched in May. Despite the hot weather, the Team members visited companies, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, industrial complexes, and specialized vocational high schools across the country, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, and the Suwon Municipal Government, etc. to promote the Department.
President Kim encouraged the team members by saying, "The University Development Team is doing various works in addition to attracting new students, and it has been performing well."
The Team, which is under the Office of Planning, consists of Manager Ki Moon Kim, Assistant Manager Won Bok Hwang, and Seung Hye Kang.
