Ajou signs an agreement with the Korea Testing Laboratory

Ajou University signed an agreement on improving industrial technological expertise and innovative capabilities with the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL). Under the agreement, the two institutions will work together for software testing certification and related R&D activities.
 
 
During the agreement signing ceremony, which was held on the afternoon of June 22nd in the University's Yulgok Hall, Ajou's President Dong Yeon Kim and Director Won Bok Lee of KTL signed and exchanged the agreement. The event was also attended by Executive Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation Kyung Hee Choi, Vice President for Planning Jung Seob Lee, Dean Jung Yol Jo of the College of Information Technology, Dean Hye Sun Kim of the College of Natural Sciences, and Project Support Team Leader Cheol Kyun Park from the University.
 
 
Ajou and KTL agreed to join forces for testing certification for improving the quality of software products; conducting research and development for establishing a software certification system including software validation; sharing equipment and facilities; exchanging R&D staff; and organizing related international conferences, seminars, and other academic events, etc.
 
 
At the ceremony, President Kim said, "I expect that this agreement will bring together our two institutions for a substantial and close partnership."
 
 
KTL was established to help enhance South Korea's industrial competitiveness through technological support for product testing and evaluation, and it is responsible for the certification of product performance and reliability and research and market analysis regarding product testing, evaluation, and certification.
