NUBI AJOU- NUBI Field Trip: Exploring Korean Culture with GSIS Students 위치 확인

NUBI FIELD TRIP - MARCH 29, 2025NUBI organized a cultural and historical field trip to the Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul with GSIS students.The field trip took place across three locations: Bukchon Hanok Village, Tongin Market, and Cheong Wa Dae (the Blue House). The event was designed to promote a deeper understanding of traditional Korean culture and to encourage meaningful exchanges between domestic and international students. Through a series of engaging activities, participants had the opportunity to experience Korea’s heritage firsthand.This field trip was a meaningful and enriching experience for both NUBI and GSIS students, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening mutual understanding.NUBI looks forward to continuing to create opportunities for friendship, collaboration, and cultural exploration between students from diverse backgrounds.

NUBI AJOU - NUBER: Welcoming GSIS students with Fun and Friendship 위치 확인

NUBER - MARCH 15, 2025The Foreign Exchange Team of NUBI AJOU, a volunteer group of Korean students supporting GSIS, hosted a Spring 2025 Kick-off Program on May 15th in Yulgok Hall. Korean students warmly welcomed international students from around the world in a friendly atmosphere.Participants were grouped into teams of Korean and international students, engaging in a variety of games. Welcome gifts were also prepared to show our gratitude.This event served as a meaningful introduction to the upcoming “Buddy Matching” program — a regular gathering near campus where students can come closely with their new friends. The kick-off helped students find their best buddies for later sessions.To wrap up the event, the best-performing teams and individuals received prizes, including traditional Korean snacks (Han-gwa), cookies and wafers, and stationery sets.

▲Professor Bernard Magno Karganilla presents an in-depth analysis on the Development of Philippine Democracy as part of the 2025 Academic Colloquium hosted by Ajou GSIS. SUWON, South Korea – April 18, 2025 — Ajou University’s Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) welcomed faculty and students from the University of the Philippines as part of the 2025 Academic Colloquium of Masters of Management.The visit began with a courtesy meeting with the Dean of GSIS, setting the tone for a day of academic exchange and dialogue. A highlight of the program was a thought-provoking talk on the Development of Philippine Democracy, delivered by Professor Bernard Magno Karganilla—Director of the Colloquium and Head of the Master of Management Program at the University of the Philippines Manila.The session concluded with lively discussions. While faculty members engaged in a brief meeting to explore academic synergies, students from both institutions actively exchanged ideas and shared personal and professional insights.Ajou GSIS extends its sincere appreciation to the University of the Philippines delegation for a meaningful and enriching exchange. We look forward to continued collaboration and shared academic endeavors.
