The 2025 Ajou-Suwon Scholarship Award Ceremony was successfully held at the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), Ajou University.

Distinguished guests from the Suwon Center for International Cooperation — Mr. Lee Sung-joo, Chief; Ms. Kim Soo-hae, Director; and Ms. Kang Yoo-jin, Associate Manager — joined the ceremony along with GSIS faculty members, including Dean Chang Byeong-yun, Professor Kang Min-hyung, and Professor Jung Hyung-uk.

This year, Mr. Depardon Jasso Luis Felipe and Ms. Salma El Miqdame were selected as the 2025 Ajou-Suwon Scholarship recipients. Last year’s awardees, Ms. Zineb Moustakime and Ms. Diana Mora Pichardo, also attended to celebrate and congratulate the new recipients, making the event even more meaningful.

Established in 2014, the Ajou-Suwon Scholarship aims to strengthen cooperation and academic exchange between Ajou University and Suwon’s sister and friendship cities. The program offers tuition and living support to outstanding international students, and so far, 24 students from 8 cities have successfully graduated through this initiative.

The ceremony concluded with congratulatory remarks, certificate presentations, and a joyful group photo capturing the spirit of celebration and friendship. The GSIS community looks forward to continuing its strong partnership with the Suwon Center for International Cooperation and to supporting more talented students in the years ahead.
