Notice on Language Track and Major Changes in the Department of International Business

A. Language Track Change
(Applications are only accepted during the designated application period each semester.)

1. Procedure


  1. If you wish to change your language track, please submit your request via email to the department staff member.

  2. You must meet the language proficiency requirement for the track you wish to change to.

Language Proficiency Requirements(You must satisfy at least one of the following requirements.)

Korean Track

  • TOPIK (PBT or IBT) Level 3 or above

  • Completion of Level 3 or higher at a Korean language institute affiliated with a Korean university

  • Completion of Intermediate-3B or above at a Sejong Institute

  • Passing Ajou University's Korean Language Proficiency Test

English Track

  • TOEFL iBT: 71 or above

  • IELTS: 5.5 or above

  • NEW TEPS: 326 or above

  1. Submit your official language proficiency certificate to the department staff member via email.

  2. Attend an interview with the Department Chair.

B. Major Change
(Applications are only accepted during the designated major change application period each semester.)

1. Procedure

  1. Review Ajou University's official notice on major applications and changes using the link below.

  2. Submit your major change application by following the instructions provided in the application manual.

  3. Attend an interview with the professor of the major you wish to transfer to.
