Among students meeting the following criteria, internal selection will be conducted based on their admission performance and potential evaluation • Nationals from countries that are recipients of Official Development Assistance (ODA) according to the OECD DAC (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Development Assistance Committee), and where there are no current enrolled students from the university based on higher education statistics (Please refer to the website for eligible countries) * Countries classified as upper-middle income among ODA recipients are excluded • Cases requiring urgent support or social consideration due to war, natural disasters, etc • Differential application of scholarship periods based on admission performance and student potential evaluation - Scholarship period varies depending on admission test scores and students’ academic potential assessment | ||

※ Ajou Global Scholarships 1, 2, 3, and 4 apply only to students entering in their first semester.
※ For Special Scholarship E, recipients cannot concurrently receive benefits from other scholarships administered by the Office of International Affairs.
※ For English Track freshman/transfer scholarships, scholarships are awarded based on TOEFL iBT, IELTS, or an equivalent official English proficiency test score.
※ After the application deadline, if a higher level TOPIK score is submitted via email within the announced period, the scholarship criteria will be adjusted accordingly (specifics regarding
submission deadlines and scholarship disbursement methods will be notified to applicants via email).

Immediate family members who are currently enrolled in undergraduate at Ajou University within the duration of their studies, or those who have enrolled simultaneously with two or more classmates of the same academic year. |

※ Basic requirements for scholarships for current students include taking 12 credits or more in the previous semester and maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or above.
※ For English track, English proficiency score of IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 80, or equivalent is required.
※ Ranking is calculated separately for the first year (2 semesters) and the second year (3 semesters or more). However, for the second year (3 semesters or more), rankings are divided into
STEM and humanities/social science categories.
※ For Special Scholarship E, it applies starting from the 2024-2 semester (admitted in September).
※ Recipients of the Cheer Up living expenses scholarship are excluded from receiving scholarships for current students.
※ Recipients of scholarships for current students must complete sexual violence prevention education and understanding Korean laws education within the designated period specified for
each semester.
※ Scholarship eligibility criteria and amounts are subject to change according to the university's scholarship system.
