Bank related charges incurred at the time of remittance are the responsibility of the individual, and additional payment needs to be paid after admission if the difference occurs due to exchange rates.

According to the government policy, joining Korea's National Health Insurance is mandatory for international students since March 2021.

D-4(General Training/Studying Korean Language) Visa Applicant

1 Admission application
2 Certificate of graduation and transcripts
  • An original copy of certificate of graduation (The latest one)
  • An original copy of transcripts for all grades
    • * It is required to submit a translated version and the translator’s confirmation when the language is other than Korean and English.
      • 21 countries announced by the Minister of Justice:
        • Submission of certificate of educational background
        • Select one: ① Apostille or ② Confirmation from the Korean Embassy in your country ※ Submission of a consulate receipt or simply notarized documents cannot be accepted.
3 Certificate of bank balance
  • A copy of an English certificate of bank balance with a remaining balance of USD 10,000 or more issued within 30 days
  • The monetary unit must be USD
    • 21 countries announced by the Minister of Justice:
      • Submission of parents' income certificate
4 Family Relation Certificate
  • Family relation certificate or birth certificate (A document that shows the list of family members with their names in English)
    • If there is a family member resides in Korea:
      • Submission of a copy of the residence card of the family member staying in Korea
    • Uzbekistan Nationality (Choose one of the two)
      • ① Apostille or
      • ② Certification(Confirmation) letter from the embassy of the Republic of Korea
5 Letter of guarantee
  • A copy of the guarantor's identification card
  • An original copy of the guarantor's proof of enrollment or employment
    • The guarantor must be the one who resides in Korea, and if not, parents can submit a letter of guarantee
    • In the case of proxy reception (e.g., agencies), the agent must be the guarantor. In this case, all legal responsibilities lie with the agent.
6 Copy of Passport

        • An original copy of high school graduation certificate
        • An original copy of university (community college) certificate of enrollment
3 Transcripts
  • An original copy of transcripts for all grades
      • If you are enrolled in university or community college:
        • An original copy of the transcripts for all grades of high school
        • An original copy of the certificate for all grades enrolled in a university (community college)
4 Certificate of academic background
  • Final academic qualification document

    For those with academic background or degree in China, select one:

    • ① Certificate of educational background verified by the embassy of the Republic of Korea to China or the Chinese Diplomatic Service in Korea
    • ② Report on Certificate of Education/Delegation issued by the Education & Diploma Certification Center of Chinese Ministry of Education
5 Verification of financial ability
  • Certificate of Bank Balance

    Original bank balance certificate of one of the following banks: 中国银行, 中国建设银行, 中国工商银行, 中国农业银行, 招商银行

    • ① Deposit amount: RMB 40,000 KRW or more
    • ② Expiration date of bank balance deposit: At least until the end date of the 2nd semester you wish to apply. (Approx. 9 months from the time of application till the end of second semester)
    • ③ Bank branch phone number, contact name
  • Parent's employment and income certificate
    • ① Each of the original copies containing detailed information about monthly salary, bonus, tax, etc.
    • ② Include contact information(name, telephone number) of certificate issuers
6 Certificate of Proof of family relationship
  • Choose one
    • ① Certificate of kinship
    • ② Certification of kinship issued by Public Security Bureau

Common documents: front and back copy of the entire family members’ identification

If the account book is separated, submit an original copy of the family relationship certificate (notarization required)

Submit proof of fact in the event of parental divorce or death

7 Letter of guarantee
  • A copy of the guarantor's identification card
  • An original copy of the guarantor's proof of enrollment or employment
    • The guarantor must be the one who resides in Korea, and if not, parents can submit a letter of guarantee.
    • In the case of proxy reception (e.g., agencies), the agent must be the guarantor. In this case, all legal responsibilities lie with the agent.
8 Copy of Passport

Medical Insurance

It is mandatory to sign up for international student insurance in case of injuries or diseases that may occur during your stay in Korea. Students who are not insured must contact us for application.
