The development process of Carbon-Zero Energy Systems Research
The Department of Energy, Ajou University, was launched in 1988 for energy education and research for the first time in South Korea; it has been producing a great number of new energy professionals based on energy technology policy-related curriculum and industry-academy-research cooperation systems. It has cultivated new researchers through integrated research encompassing diverse majors such as Natural Science, Engineering, and Economics in the Department of Energy Systems Research, while having awarded the following programs from 2006: 2nd BK21 Program, 3rd BK21 PLUS Program in 2013, and 4th BK21 Program.
