Ajou’s Jae Hyeong Ahn wins the Grand Prize at the Contest of Methods to Promote Industrial Convergence

Ajou University’s Jae Hyeong Ahn (Department of Industrial Engineering of the Graduate School, right in above picture) won the Grand Prize at the 4th Contest of Methods and Case Study to Promote Industrial Convergence. Applications for the Contest, which was co-hosted by the Korea National Industrial Convergence Center and the Korean Institute of Industrial Engineers, were available to graduate schools, research institutes, companies, and the general public.


Ahn’s research was entitled “How to Develop Methodology for Promoting Industrial Convergence Ideas: Next Generation Mobile Communication Industry,” and the guiding professor was Sung Joo Lee (Department of Industrial Engineering). Second authors were Gyu Woong Kim and Hee Yong Noh who are in the same department as Ahn.


The award ceremony was held on November 7th at Yonsei University during the Fall Conference and Regular General Meeting of the Korea Institute of Industrial Engineers.
