On Tuesday, November 26, a delegation from the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) at Ajou University, led by Dean Byeong-Yun Chang and Director Hyunbae Moon of the Office of Academic Affairs, visited Tashkent to host a special reunion for alumni of the Ajou GSIS – GSBE Dual Degree Program.

The event brought together 20 participants, including nine graduates from the program's 1st cohort, seven from the 2nd cohort, and four current students from the 4th cohort who are currently studying in Uzbekistan.

The gathering highlighted the professional achievements of the alumni, many of whom are now performing pivotal roles in various government agencies and major corporations across Uzbekistan. The event served as a platform for graduates to share updates on their careers and lives while fostering connections between different cohorts. Attendees actively discussed strategies to maintain continuous exchange and strengthen the alumni network in the region.

The Ajou GSIS – GSBE program is a dual degree initiative established through a partnership between Ajou University and the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship (GSBE) under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan. The program allows students to earn degrees from both institutions.

To date, the program has successfully produced 17 graduates from the 1st cohort and 22 from the 2nd cohort. The program remains active and robust, with 17 students from the 3rd cohort currently studying at Ajou GSIS in Korea, and 17 students from the 4th cohort currently enrolled at GSBE in Uzbekistan.
