NEW Ajou GSIS Selected as Host Institution for 2026-2028 GKS 'Global Network' Track

Ajou University Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) has been officially selected as a host institution for the 2026-2028 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) Graduate Specialized Track in the "Global Network" category.

The GKS Specialized Track is a government-funded program designed to foster global talent in strategic fields. According to the selection results released by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), Ajou GSIS was named one of the few universities to lead the "Global Network" track.


This selection is particularly significant given the highly competitive nature of the Global Network track, which has a total quota of only 80 scholars nationwideDespite the intense competition among universities, Ajou GSIS successfully secured an allocation of 10 students, affirming its status as a leading institution for international education.


Under this program, the Department of International Development Cooperation at Ajou GSIS will recruit 10 GKS scholars annually for three years, commencing from the Fall 2026 semesterThe university was selected as a "New" participant in this track, reflecting a positive evaluation of its faculty's dedication and the institution's robust curriculum.


Ajou GSIS plans to leverage this opportunity to further expand its global network and provide high-quality education to future leaders from around the world.

Recruitment for the first cohort of this track is scheduled to begin ahead of the 2026 academic year.
